Uninteresting Update….

Wednesday, April 20th, 2005

Happy Birthday to Amanda and Hitler and happy smoke day for tokers. have fun.
um….so men generally suck donkey ass. but girls are still totally hot and much cooler.
um…weather is ridonkulously fabulous, which means new york is uncomparably awesome place to be right now. unfortunately you still can’t have a drink on the street so its hard to enjoy it.
How many of you completed your income taxes on time? How many of you even have any idea what I’m talking about? call your dad. He’ll explain.
Just finished reading Life Of Pi. It is one of the best books ever. ROGER, you have to read it. period. do it Roger, do it.

Can’t stop mucus production.

I have been sick for almost three weeks now. It is disturbing. Mucus flows freely, heavily, and unstoppably. is that a word? i say yes.
In not-so-related dating news, I am leaving the country and travelling (if you will) abroad. Piano playing, serenading, young, smiling british man tries his hardest. (pardon the pun). his success has not yet been determined. will post update if such determination is ever granted. Cowboy boots apparently lose there potentcy when paired with dumbness. now there’s a fun word. go ahead…use it in a sentence. ;) let’s all take this moment to boo Laura Faye for being more fortunate than us because she’s in Paris right now and we are not. BOO.

girl renews lifelong love of whiskey

I love Maker’s Mark. It is sweet and gentle to my soul. It has never let me down. Last night I renewed my vows with old Mark. 5 or 6 times. I then apparently drunk dialed to a friend and left embarrassing long and sloppy messages of affection and crudeness. I do not remember this happening, but I will never forget be forced to listen to these awesome messages the next day. I like a man who knows when to take control. and Old Mark unnervingly always knows just when to take over and lead me down his beaten path, paved with drunk dialing, number exchanging, booty dancing, and pillow drooling deep rest. what a man. what a lifelong companion I have on my side. I am truly blessed. Jack, Jim, Johnny, Jose, Mark, and sweet glittery Crown! These are my friends. These are my blessings.

New York in the spring! You’re all Jealous!

Popes return to Heaven leaves NYC with beautiful weather

Wednesday, April 6th, 2005

Today in NYC the weather was absolutely fucking fabulous. Undoubtedly one of those days you will look back on for decades with longing and envy. If I hadn’t been running to work, confused by the time changes, I would have enjoyed it longer. (I take this moment to curse at all of you who still haven’t changed your clocks and dont see why thats dumb).
I am really saddened by our loss of Pope John Paul II. As a Catholic he was an important figure in my life. He was the only priest I have ever listened to that I truly believed was connected to God. His actions and viewpoints never swayed from the path he preached. He lived as best he could in the same sacrificial way that Jesus laid out for us to follow. I have never known any Pope but this one and do not know how easy it will be to accept someone else as my spiritual leader. I am saddened byt the humanization that replacement brings to the office of the Father of the church. I believe Pope John Paul II was better than most humans and therefore the office was too. Now I am afeard that this new Papal figure will bring down the office in my eyes, and I will lose faith.
Tonight I was stuck on the subway. underneath the East River of all places. There was a stalled train in front of us and we couldnt move. So, after a half hour standstill, the train travelled backwards to the preceding Manhattan stop and we escaped into the dark night and all fought for taxis. boo. you have no idea how boo that is. took me two hours to get home. boo. and an extra 14 dollars. boo.
I think someone tried to slip something into my drink last night. Only not a roofie, but like coke or something. Because all of a sudden I had this surge of energy and was chewing on my tongue and twitching the occasional shoulder. Oh, and these people kept inviting me into the bathroom to do coke and i kept saying no thanks. New York has a lot of coke heads. fucking 80’s, man. whatever.
lets see…what else. ah yes, Knicks basketball players made me work a couple hours late tonight as they chomped away on steak after the game. We had to keep the restaurant open just for them. and their hoes of course. Basketball players are fucking tall!!! 6′9 doesn’t sound to me like such a big number but I now know it is. crazy mad tall guy. living in his own atmosphere tall. Don’t see how he fits into cars tall. There’s a good chance I wouldnt be able to beat him up tall.

Im so sick. I keep taking all these over the counter drugs, which is fine, unless you take 4 different types at the same time. I like combining though. I think it raises my odds. and after all these years Tussin still wins out as the best OTC drug. it tastes like you are drinking a hurricane on bourbon and then you start feel like you’re really there.
Time change sucks once a year. in the fall it is absolutely a Godsend. But in the spring it sucks ass and the only slightly redeeming quality about it is that it bumps you one hour closer to summer. The muscle of all seasons. I love heat! Bring it on!
once again, yeah for my nyquil!
so, where was I? oh yes, I ……nope. nop nope nope……its too late. nyquil just started kicking my ass. I have lost all fluent thought process.
oh yes. here’s a thought. I think girls who wear waist high pants are out of their minds. what are they thinking. they look terrible.
my foot is numb and tingly. i want that to stop..
